  2. What does instanced mean? Sorry, despite your efforts to make me a gamer, I’m still not qualified.

  3. Why are you so sexy ?

    By Devyon69 on Jan 25, 2012

  4. @roberttomoguchi Instanced is like..a going into a dungeon in an mmo, but it is not open to the whole server..only a specif person/ group of people

    By matthew33179 on Jan 25, 2012

  5. well swtor is instanced alot..but it has huge open world areas, and world boss’s etc. And also has open world pvp ( on pvp servers of course)

    By matthew33179 on Jan 25, 2012

  6. @roberttomoguchi yea, what matthew said :) Imagine people having to go use the subway, but there’s a loading screen when you descend, and everyone had their own subway because they had to go to different places. Sort of like that. :3

  7. I hear the instance stuff blows big horse dick. Like some people just don’t have time to wait one hour to get people to play one thing.

  8. See SWToR isnt that bad, its small areas outside the main area, mainly for some of the direct story like class questing and generally the main planet questline. But see WoW did large open areas, phasing out people who either did some event against those who didnt do said event. I hated being phased out because me or my friend completed something. Tho I dont mind the private instances they do in class quests for SWToR. Cynthx, are you on SWToR, yet?

By ArisShadows on Jan 26, 2012

  9. @ArisShadows I tried SWToR and came to the decision that it just wasn’t for me. I’m used to big, open worlds with beautiful environments and surprise NPCs to encounter in addition to the story quests. I like exploring :3

  10. Hey, just wanted to say I came across your videos and you are really fun to watch : )
I love how you talk like, calm/relaxed, and you seem like a really nice and good person.

in regards to the video, I agree. IMO, WOW have gone way too instanced-content focused and it’s gonna continue in MoP with all of the new features… hopefully they are gonna follow their promise and create more open-world content and reasons to travel in the world as a counter.

keep making good vids, I subscribed ^^

  11. @cynthx But there is alot of exploring, especially on the much later planets that are so huge; like Hoth. Datacrons ftw.. Tho I get the idea of how WoW has the completely connected areas from one place to next, if thats what you mean. Can’t deny the beauty in both games tho. Well whatever you enjoy is good. I am really liking it, and I can see it gonna do quite well. Definately good to have competions on either end of the sprectrum.

  12. You should just play rift

By bloodgunslinger on Jan 29, 2012

  13. @cynthx So what games are you planning on playing in the future? Have you checked out Tera?

    By Marcus8958 on Jan 31, 2012

  14. So far I have yet to play an MMO I enjoy. Blizzard has come the closest though to a enjoyable one for me. But I hate turn based combat. Bores the piss out of me nor do I care to grind all day. Diablo is more my game or a cool free MMO but total shit world is Vindictus. Plus all I’ll also say this is odd I have seen a rise of female gamers blogging on youtube. I still say most female toons running around in games are gay dudes LOL!

  15. Diablo3 needs to release like yesterday so i can get back to my roots in the diablo, which has been my gaming bread and butter since I was like 8.

  16. @cynthx The question is.. did you even get to level 50? The worlds are quite beautiful, with the right graphics cards/computers. And as for World PVP, it greatly exists in SWTOR.

When going from 7 years raiding of WoW to SWTOR yeah.. its alittle difficult for me.. but.. I am open minded and see that, its a great game and has a chance.

As for instanced MMO’s.. yeah, instances are a way to keep order, because millions of casuals cry about it. It is the future of Mmo’s.

  17. @Lokim23 I agree. I am even building a new PC to experience the worlds they have created. This game is less than a month old, give it time. I hear they are working on scaling UI and I have heard rumors of perhaps a macro engine which would be great.

  18. @bertmollar Err 2 months old. Typo.
