RE4 is one of my favorite games and I totally understand that FEELING.

Dead Space has that gameplay and feeling similar to RE4 & RE5. IMO! Dead Space is the way to go, the experience is totally worth it and again similar to RE4 which makes it a great survival-horror game

Left for Dead 2, its a beastly game and you can play with four friends at once. Or Dead rising two which can fit like a crap load of zombies on screen at one time, like 700+ or something really big. you can modify weapons like a propane tank w spikes! Big boom! Both great games.
